Down here at the dock patch.......

Wow! Today saw change of many kinds as rain bands traveled through accompanying a persistent south ish wind. This poor but rare weather stopped any boats reaching us and just as well with a nice selection of migrants all frequenting immature dock clumps - an absolutely mind blowing sight!

The list as it stands Whinchat 3, Garden Warbler 1, Lesser Whitethroat 2, Redstart, 1, Spotted Fly 1, Whitethroat 7+, Sedge Warbler 2, Willow Warbler 11, Chiff 1 while 64 Bar-tailed Godwits went north and 2 Little Terns did a fly by.

Lepidoptera interest was provoked by the simultaneous arrival of 7 Red Admiral and Spruce Carpet (pic soon).

Heres some pics of other stuff:

1 Whinchat

3 Whinchats
